Nose section of troop carrying assault glider, capable of carrying a Jeep and anti-tank gun. First flown in 1941 and used in major WW2 airborne operations including D-Day and Arnhem. 3655 built, mostly under contract to furniture makers. All survivors known have been rebuilt or are composites.
